Cannibal Crossing » Devlog

My main role was the set dresser of this game.
What I did:
- Found assets to use, not including the player, enemy and UI assets
- Decorated the entire level using found assets
- I did not decorate the night portion of the level
- Created particle effects for bad, good and great dishes when they are made
Our game is obviously based on the game Animal Crossing, so I tried to make the aesthetics very similar to it. I purposely found low poly assets to give the game a cartoonish feel. I also took inspiration from the village in Animal Crossing, so I added a cute house and many flowers into the island to give a village feel.
